| CoinMapUSA Quarters Coin Map of the United States of America, commemorates the issuance of limited edition state quarters by the United States Mint. These new 50 state collector coins represent the first design changes to the quarter since the issuing of the 1976 bicentennial coin. The collection of these coins has caught the interest of both serious coin collectors and the public at large. Parents are collecting for their children enthusiastic about the fun educational experience of placing coins within the accurate slots of the respective states. Patriotism has become a national pastime of the American people. It is with this in mind that the collection of commemorative quarters is more popular now than ever before as the excitement of an all-American hobby is spreading across the USA and overseas. Each state quarter is stamped with the first president of the United States, George Washington, on one side, and a unique state design on the reverse side. Five states will be releasing coins each year having begun in 1999 and to end in 2008. The US Mint will issue one new state quarter design every ten weeks.
